Today was a busy day for me. At 7 am I arrived at Hardin's Wholesale to complete my photo story on the busy Valentine's season. The morning began with the routine Monday morning cutting of all flowers received since Friday. The operation took near an hour and left the cooler bursting at the seams, as well as the waiting room. Below is a bit of the chaos.

An unusual happening; a florist came to choose and pick up her flowers for the day. She came early as she had a casket spray to complete before the delivery would take place. Needless to say she left with a ton of flowers.

Here is Rosemary, the leader of the pack. Always on the move, Rosemary is constantly on the phone with clients as she assembles orders and checks their quality.

Each bunch of flowers is hand checked for quality. Their commitment to quality is clearly indicative of their success.

Again, roses bunched and fresh from delivery; I just loved this shot.

The last of the series: the warehouse much more full and much busier.

I sure hope you've enjoyed this little slice of life. I also hope you've ordered your flowers for your sweetie- I learned tons about price gouging in the flower business.
I'll be back tomorrow with senior model shots of a gorgeous Rachel. Have a good one!

Have you ordered yours yet?

I've started a quick photo story. Hardin's Wholesale in Bowling Green sells to all florists in and around Bowling Green. For Valentine's Week they have ordered 15,000 roses. Today I got some fun shots and 15 pink roses. Enjoy!

Above is the walk-in flower cooler. Below is a fun photo of the whole warehouse. They sell everything from ribbon to spraypaint, baskets to waterproof tape.

Check out these pale green and pink roses.

Orange roses too- isn't it neat how they wrap them all up?

And of course a silly photo of me in the cooler- I LOVE my new camera!!

Have a great week! More to share soon! E

Hey ya'll! Hope your New Years is going as well as mine is. Just wanted to write a quick note about my availability.

With my being in school, trips home are coming more far and few between. With the number of inquiries I have had in the past few weeks about spring family photos and senior images, I will be shooting through my whole spring break. Anytime March 10-17 is currently wide open for all sessions. Remember appointments are first come, first serve as always. Your date and time will be held secure upon reciept of your session fee.

I also have Sunday, February 18th open, perhaps more time that weekend- inquire if this fits with your schedule better and I can try to accomidate you.

For my photo today, you may ask- why tulips? Well I just recieved my new camera! I am very excited to have a new "tool in my toolbox." You will see much more very soon- I'm real excited!

Have a great week!

I am so happy to be caught up- time to face wedding season! Currently, I am booking this summer, but have some spring spaces available. With wedding season comes the start to a new year of seniors. A senior kickoff will be coming to a mailbox near you in the next month!

Last, congrats to Lana Riney and Greg Kunkel. They will be married on Derby Day, May 5th, at a sunset ceremony underneath Western Kentucky University's famous bell tower. Gorgeous! The reception will follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Bowling Green. Congrats Lana and Greg - I can't wait to work with you all and feel so privileged to have been chosen to document your big day!

Have a great weekend!

Not a whole lot going on as I am back at school, but in accordance with my New Years resolution I thought I would post a couple snapshots of what I am doing. As you may know, I wear many different hats. While at school (Western Kentucky University) I am a resident assistant in an upperclass athletics hall. Today I made snowflake door decorations for everyone on my floor here for winter term.
