Assignment of the week: holiday food....doesn't it make you hungry?

School is busy as always, but my photo class is keeping it fun! This week's assignment was a color portrait. We each had a different color which we drew from a hat. My sisters, Sara and Abby, are the models for these fun images- enjoy!

Joe Riley and Alissa Couch are engaged! We took some great shots in Bowling Green where the two met. Congratulations- you all are great together!

Western Kentucky University's 100th anniversary is this year. Our homecoming was amazing, and so was queen nominee Kyanna Coffee. Kyanna asked me to photograph her for the queen campaign in and around Bowling Green and we had the best time. These images are so expressive of Kyanna's personality.

On my weekend photo blitz for the Khan reception I photographed Matt Wyatt for his senior pictures. We had a great time! I also got some images of his nephew, Drake- what a cutie!

School at Western has been very busy for me. Last week I took a trip to Chicago with my photo class to visit some studio photographers and the Chicago Tribune's studio. I learned lots and am looking forward to using techniques I learned in Chicago.

I have found time to post some of my recent favorite images. Quite a bit of updating to do.

These images are from Sam and Moyna Alauddin's wedding reception in Kentucky. The colors were beautiful, as were the people. Thanks for inviting me to document your reception- it was wonderful!
